PrivyID CEO Recognized as a Globally Influential Entrepreneur

Marshall Pribadi, Founder & CEO of PrivyID, has just been named an Endeavor Entrepreneur. He was the only Southeast Asian candidate to pass the selection process at the 85th International Selection Panel held in San Francisco, California, United States, last Wednesday (February 6). Founded in 1997, Endeavor is an international organization established to support sustainable global economic growth through specialized programs designed for selected entrepreneurs.

“It is an honor for me and PrivyID to be selected to be part of Endeavor. This means that our regtech innovation in providing legally compliant electronic signature and digital identity services has once again been recognized on a global scale,” said Marshall Pribadi, who was previously named to Forbes Asia’s “30 Under 30” list in 2017.

Those selected as Endeavor Entrepreneurs must meet specific criteria and undergo a rigorous selection process. Candidates must possess a vision and a strong drive to grow their businesses into successful ventures. Strong leadership qualities, a commitment to sharing knowledge, and contributions to society are also fundamental criteria.

The businesses run by Endeavor Entrepreneurs must feature innovative ideas capable of transforming industries, both locally and internationally. Additionally, these businesses must be able to create quality jobs while possessing the potential for rapid growth.

Endeavor believes that the startup PrivyID, founded by Marshall, has revolutionized individual identification in electronic transactions in Indonesia. Although it is not yet three years old, PrivyID has now assisted more than a hundred Indonesian companies operating across various financial sectors, such as banking (Bank Mandiri, BRI, and CIMB Bank), financing (Bussan Auto Finance, MPM Finance, Adira Finance, Kawan Lama Group), and even thousands of women-owned microenterprises in rural areas through a partnership with the fintech company Amartha. The technology offered by PrivyID provides convenience, security, and efficiency for its nearly 3 million users and helps advance Indonesia’s digital economy.

Over the course of twelve months, Marshall underwent an evaluation process and in-depth interviews with several mentors from Endeavor Indonesia and the Asia region. Marshall presented his innovation, business plan, business growth potential, business challenges and opportunities, as well as his personal qualities to a panel of judges consisting of Davids Tjhin (Partner and Managing Director of Boston Consulting Group Indonesia), Gunawan Susanto (President Director of IBM Indonesia), Bernd Waltermann (Senior Partner and Managing Director of Boston Consulting Group Singapore), Yulia Yasmina (Partner at EY Indonesia), Budiman Goh (International Business Director at Garudafood), and Iwan Atmawidjaja (Consulting Leader at Deloitte Indonesia),

After advancing through the national and regional rounds, Marshall then underwent interviews and evaluation by a panel of global Endeavor mentors as part of the international selection process. Marshall’s selection as the 43rd Endeavor Entrepreneur from Indonesia joins him among 1,824 other Endeavor Entrepreneurs, including Achmad Zaky (Founder of Bukalapak), Adrian Gunadi (CEO of Investree), and Niki Luhur (President Director of Kartuku & Chairman of AFTECH). As an Endeavor Entrepreneur, Marshall will receive access to exclusive mentoring, networking, and investment opportunities from global entrepreneurs.
